Hi all, I just bought my first Mopar which has been a dream of mine for a while. It's a '74 Challenger that needs a lot of love. My restoration journey is beginning and looking for lots of good info & inspiration.

Here's a couple I took on the day my buddy helped me deliver it. My daughter is VERY jazzed about the car! It does run (383 bored out to a 426) with a pretty nice rumble. Originally a Canada car so does have some rust issues. Story goes that two brothers both bought Challengers and the RT became a bit of a donor to this car so the RT grill and other badging is kind of misleading. Although the color is a little funky (Frosty Green) I am kind of coming around to it & thinking of repainting the same color with black accent stripes minus the "RT" and black hood accent. Not sure about the vinyl top but if I redo it I am going to pull it forward. It does run & drive...actually got it to pass emissions just last night by leaning it out.

Thanks for the welcome!

I am liking it more & more also. I think black & green are a pretty good combo. The green interior is gonna need to grow on me more. Thinking of maybe reupholstering in black with some tasteful green accents. Green carpet is gonna have to go buh-bye for black though.

FYI, if it's a 383 that went to 426 it's stroked, not just bored.

I'm sure it won't be the last time I misstated something. I am here to learn...trust me this is not my strong subject.
