New to MOPAR
Hi, I just recently purchased my first (running) classic MOPAR, a 1965 Plymouth Fury III. It's the first daily driver I have without fuel injection and a computer. I'll admit I know very little about these old cars, which is why I'm here. I'm wanting help and advice in adding more power to a bone stock 383 two barrel. Friends told me about a kit from 440source to bore it over, but I've also considered a dual quad setup. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Just remember that with more power from the motor, you may need build up the tranny and rear axle to handle it and the brakes to help you stop better. With a 383 though, there are may ways that you can build power.

There are a few fairly straight forward things that can be done to your 383 2bbl, that will wake her up. The first is a set of dual exhaust. This was the first modification that I did to my Fury. She sounds good and there is a subtle difference in power.

I'd stay with a single carb if its going to be a daily driver. A good dual plane intake(Performer RPM) and 650-750 cfm carb along with dual exhast would be my recomendation. You may also want to up cam it with a mild performance cam along with new lifters and timing chain & gear set. Also go with a mopar performance ignition.
