New to Mopar
I'm a Volkwagen guy, but have Mopar in my blood (going back to my great-great-grandfather who worked for Dodge before they were bought up by Chrysler) and have always loved Chrysler's classics.
Well, I picked up a 74 Plymouth Scamp with the 318, which seems a bit less common than Dusters and plain-jane Valiants, which makes me like em even more. It has about 74k original miles, rebuilt motor and tranny, rear end redone (new poly bushings, leafsprings, shocks, etc).
She needs the front end done, steerings is pretty sloppy, and bounces quite a bit to the point the tires rub. I've already bought front shocks I'm gonna throw on, probably needs bump stops as well. She also needs rear axle bearings, something I've never done (nor have the tools to do) since all I work on are front drive VW's.
The vinyl top also needs to be replaced, something I think I would have done professionally if its too much of a pain. She is also due for a paint job, with 35 year old paint on there, but it's not bad. Probably the last thing I'm going to worry about. She is also VERY rust free, which is what sold me on her in the first place.
Anyway, I think I am done rambling for now, how about some pictures eh?

If he answers any of your future threads, just yell at your puter, very loud, thank you polara dude!!! he loves that kinda stuff. you can yell at him if your in a bad mood, and had a rough day too he loves that even more. we all try to humor him here. hes a "special needs kinda guy" and he handles the abuse so well. course his meds help him tremendously. LOL Give the new guy the number to our pharmacist polara.
