New to Mopar, restoring a 69 GTX 440 4SPD

Greetings. I am restoring my uncle's Plymouth GTX, 440 4SPD. It has been sitting for a bit. I live in South Eastern Pennsylvania, and I'm looking for a place that is credible and will help me out. I recognize there are things that I just can't do myself. Like Bodywork for one...
I am a member of other forums and get tremendous amounts of help and support from them. I know this one will be the same.
Thanks.

Welcome to the site, sounds like a great project. I am presently restoring a 73 charger to an acceptable level,i have built many cars through my life but this is my first that i'm attempting to do entirely by myself [except machine shop work] i did not know how to weld when i started and now i'm able to do it good enough to get buy,i'm not a body man nor painter learning as i go, but i figure i can't do any worse than econobake. There a lot of folks on this site that will lend sugesstions and help if asked. Check out my crashcourse in bodywork here http://s1138.photobucket.com/albums/...ger%20project/

Thanks everyone. Lou3500, great pics to start. I'll be sure to chronicle this project as it comes to fruition. Still in the hunt for a body guy... I've talked to about a half dozen. One guy can't get stuff out of his garage. Another guy, is the same. I got one more guy to check out, but I need to get this thing started soon!

How far are you willing to go for a decent body guy and are you looking for quality or price?

Hey Mando, my experience is that body guys are extremely slow and don't tell you that till they get your stuff in the shop... I would add extra time to my project... But do not cut corners on the quality... When its all said and done you will forget the longer than expected wait time but a poor body job will last until you re-do it...... JMO.....
