New to Mopar vehicles
Hi, my name is Jonathan and I own a 1985 Chrysler 5th ave with the 318 V8 5.2L. I beleive it has the Holley 2bbl carb on it. I just wanted to introduce myself as I have no experience with carburetors or mopar vehicles in general. I hope to learn from you guys and find useful info on this site.

I think i know what you are talking about, are you talking about the cap thing that has hoses coming out of it on the passenger side valve cover? I will post a picture as soon as I can of the breather.

Welcome, Lean burn is an electronic computer that is attached to the air cleaner. It says leanburn right on top of it if the label didnt fall off. The car also might have a carter carb they used both in the mid 80s. In that car your going to be Pimping at the car shows.Lol

the only thing on my air cleaner is the Electronic Fuel System thing, if I remove the air cleaner housing, the car still runs fine. I assume it doesnt have the same affect as say a MAF on a newer car? Will it run fine if I put an Edelbrock aftermarket air cleaner and simply remove the stock one along with all wiring?
