New to this and need help

I have a 1982 D150 with a slant 6. I picked up a 318 at a salvage yard and having it rebuilt. Looking for advice on a good, cost friendly intake manifold and 4brl carb or work with this. Also looking to lower this truck.

Go back and get the trans, crossmember, linkage, radiator, fan shroud, For the change over.....
Pick up an Edlebrock Performer intake and a 650 Holley Carb.
Get a set of headers and some flowmasters...
2800 Stall convertor for the trans
Good orange Ignition box....
3.55 in the diff out back.....
It will run like a champ and still pull around 18 MPG around town..
