Hello everyone, I was last here on St Pats Day of 2015! In my defense I have TBI and forget many things. The parts people asked me about back then never got a reply from me, and if your reading this, I apologize.
The car they would have come off of is nearly done being resto moded.
It's the "Yankee Express" 1967 Dodge Coronet 500.
Much has happened since 2015 to be sure!
Back then I had only owned the car for 5 months. I didn't even know then really what I wanted to do with it. I figured it out though. The mods contemplated and completed are as follows:
67 Charger hidden headlights and grille, fender noses swept back to 90*, hood sectioned and the front 8" fastened down, the rear section flips open forward on gas lifts, inner fender close out panels fabed, smooth firewall, front disc brake conversion, 2006 Audi A6 Quattro Allroad dash and console including heat and A/C, custom door panels, power locks and windows, 10 way power heated leather clad bucket seats, floor pans replaced, rear wells tubbed out, '59 Corvette style roadster panel fabed behind the bucket seats, fake side scoops on each quarter panel opened up, fuel door closed out and moved to top of left quarter next to trunk deck, trunk deck on gas lifts, spare tire well cut out, flat trunk floor installed, 16 gallon fuel tank above the rear axle inside trunk, entire rear face of cars sheet metal customized to accept 1966 Thunderbird tail lights, 1970 Road Runner rear bumper cut in half and lengthened by 2 7/8ths" and installed with fabed brackets, exhaust will exit through the back up light holes. Procured 2 440 RB big blocks and I am in the process of tearing down one to build for the Express.
So, I have been busy in the years since then.
