Hey guy's
quick question... I have a 62 Chrysler that I want to drop a 440 into. Any tips on getting a motor from Craigslist? Like how not to get ripped off, what to look for etc
Thanks!

When I buy an engine I have two rules.
#1- If I can't hear it run or drive the vehicle, it is a core for rebuild.
#2- If it is running I should be able to do any tests I like.
You will find many with great stories and facts and phone numbers only to get it home to find it is not as they say and maybe they were ripped off, didn't know it and passed it along to you sincerely.
Oh, and Welcome.
