Hey welcome to the forum. I do know that the 1985 d150 has the larger bolt pattern {5x5 ?} The 1984 D150 had the smaller 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern [like the cars had]. Shouldn't be too hard finding wheels with that bolt pattern. I'd go with 20's about 8-9 inches wide with 4 1/2 backspacing. Maybe 235 45r 20 tires. A good tire shop should be able to tell what should fit. Find one that specializes in larger size wheels.
This is just my best guess about the size.

When you get the truck back you should take some measurements. Measure what the bolt pattern is, and how much backspacing your current wheels have. Also turn them full lock both ways and take some measurements from the inside of the tires to the frame, suspension, and steering parts, just to give you an idea about how wide you can go

IF you can find the backspacing of the wheels that you want, compair them to the wheels that are on there now. That will give you a good understanding about how they will fit.
