newbie to mopar, sort of...

I am new to this site, as if it isn't obvious. Anyway, I am an auto mechanic by trade, but AMC is my thing. So now I got this drivetrain from a diplomat police car that I intend on using on a project. It is in good shape with only 85K on it, but I will be doing some motor buildup for a little extra power. I want to be able to spin 'em here and there, and I will have wide slicks on this ride. The tranny is and auto and will remain stock for a while but if it blows, it blows. I just want to get some horsepower up there. I am thinking intake, cam, some headers, etc. I got a nice spreadbore carb, non-feedback. I am not looking to change heads or any bottom end work right away. So what am I looking for as far as a cam? what's a good intake? What headers?
