North Dakota Chrysler question?
Hello from North Dakota!
I joined this form because I need to find out more about a Chrysler New Yorker. I am trying to sell a 1975 brougham 2 door for a good friend. It was his fathers and he doesn’t know much about it other than what I found out on it. It is a two tone two door model with a 440 and 117k miles. It’s in pretty decent shape and runs but needs TLC from sitting in a hanger for 8 years. The interior is awesome yet! I am a GM guy and frequent the 72 Chevy forum and a jeep guy but know nothing about Chryslers. I need to sell it for him and I can’t keep it due to many other projects I all ready have. What can you guys give me for advise? I was thinking in the $5k range? I hope this doesn’t violate any forum rules, and I I know no one that knows anything about Chryslers so you guys are my last hope! Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If the under carriage and engine are as clean as the body and interior, it could bring a little more. Not many of those on the road anymore.

Thanks. The undercarriage is decent and engine bay is clean as a Dakotas car can be. There is one rust spot under the front of the back passenger wheel well. It runs but after sitting it needs a thermostat, new hoses, a battery, and a few other little things worked out. Figured I could have her pretty sound for under $1,000 in parts including updated tires. Thought about keeping it for my girls, but the thought of feeding a 440 as a school car now days doesn’t make sense. The interior is perfect besides the passenger sun visor. Just looking for directions to go selling it. The main interest in it was the 440. Would be a great cruiser but the girls like off-roading in the 3/4 ton blazer too much.

Id say 5k for a barely running car that needs tires etc. is A bit much, maybe 2500 or so.
