Numbers match me
Greetings
I am a member of a few other boards, some more focused on the C Body beasties as I am a die hard slab sider. This site offers a more broad brush stroke approach which is quite refreshing.
My old ride is a date coded, numbers matching, vehicle of which I am the second owner. I picked it up in 1978 as used car and treated it to an off sub frame factory style resto, right down to NOS Oriflow shocks. It's a pain to drive with the 8.55 x 14 pizza cutter tires but even after 30 some years I still get a wide grin driving it.
It's a 1966 Chrysler 300 convertible, fully loaded inside but no 440 TNT, discs or sure grip but all the other toys.
My other daily ride is a modded 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with 550 + hp. It's fearsomely fast for a biggish vehicle. A lot of fun but not to practical.
Look forward to posting here.
Regards
