Should I get it?
HI,
So very new to both forums and hot rods. but here i go.
I just got a 1964 Chrysler 300 4 door hard top with a 383 auto.
Needs work.
I have a chance at a 77' 440 industrial with an auto trans both in a crate nu-used for $2600. I think I will get better heads for this. I guess i need to do a gasket job on both and lube the bearings, but do "you" think its a deal. I understand tha I will need a machine shops help with the 383 and all the parts to fix it up. It has 30,000 on this motor. I think (maybe rolled over to 130,000) hard to tell.. I'll take any and all advice. Thanks in advance for help.
