the 1958 chrysler 393 HEMI is about 300-400 lbs more. i put one in a 59 ply wagon in 1968. the weight was so much that when i cranked the torsion bar it started blowing the bushing out of the shocks. so DONT bottom the torsion adjusting bolt out. it handled like a pig. the extra weight WILL make a difference.
