I have a 318 magnum from a 1997 ram 1500 and I'm thinking of so much to do, and not including budget, I just like to think.

So aside all I will do in term of letting it breathe, has anyone ever heard or done a 318 408 stroker kit in the 5.2? I hear there will be clearance issues and I have no problem milling out a little if I can get the monster torque. The kit I'm thinking of buying is this and as of now, just worry about this kit, I will find a cam, heads and all that stuff later, I jsut want to know if anyone has done a 318 to 408 stroker kit before. (I believe the 360 5.9 is the same block and all except the stroke so if you've done 360 to 408 lemme know)

Not fond of cast cranks - Had one break on a 360. I would look for a 360 block !! That depends on what HP you are looking for

 

Bore is very different those pistons will not work. Look for a 318\390 stroker kit.
