Assuming both have electronic ignition, then pretty much, except for the location of various end points (distributor, coil, etc. etc.).
The plug wires have the same firing order, but are reversed in rotation on big blocks (counter clockwise) vs. small blocks (clockwise).

I doubt there would exist any difference as long as the engine family was the same. There could exist differences depending on the location of the alternator or if AC was present but that would probably be in length only. Upon doing some research I've found that wire color codes have remained the same for the same application across many years. Smart thinking when your buying wire by the miles as opposed to feet as the loom manufacturers do. If you bought a Painless harness for your car, they match their codes to OEM color codes pretty accurately. Some things seldom change.

Thanks guys. I thought they were the same or at least close. I have a electronic egnition wiring loom from my 70 Cuda and planned on using on my newest toy a 71 Super Bee.
Same size engine so shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks again

i would not bet they are the same. i would not take that bet. only way to tell would be to carefully examine a factory diagram line by line. for all i know, the bulkhead connector might not even be the same.
