how to shrink pic's & post em ?

hi there i have some pic's of my Aussie valiant that others want to see but i don't know how . also i wanted to change my profile pic but it said it was to large how do i shrink them ? thanks .

if you have windows then right click the photo, click on edit and it should bring you to paint. go to image, go down to stretch/skew, then type in a % number for both horizontal and vertical. make sure that they are the same number though. then save the pic and try to post it. I have a 17" flat screen so normally I make the pic about 1.5"x1.5" and save it.






after the last pic just save it how youw ant and you should be able to post it as your icon/avatar. you might need to make it a little smaller though. I hope this helps you out.

I was messing with that this morning, I think it tells you the maximum size. So what I did was save it to the desktop, and save it after I made it smaller and then looked at its properties to see when I got under the number. I think it was 17.6 kb.
