tranztech overdrive
I just wanted to say that the tranztech big-block OD is the greatest thing ever. I have one in my 69 charger and love it. I am not happy with the gv set up. I have heard a lot of issues with vibration and tuning. that is why I think more people might be interested in this alternative. benefits are vast over its competitors.
lock-up T. converter for better cooling and more rpm drop, retains all bosses for linkage and cooler lines are a direct fit, only 2-2.5 inches longer,no computer, no floor cutting and best of all, over a kesler auto, is NO bow tie parts in my mopar. they say that they are good to at least 500 hp. if your making a drag car a 3 speed is ideal but if you like to drive your car and light em up every now and then, this is perfect. They even made MCGs top 10 and offer a AMC bellhousing.
I have had mine for 4 years and no problems. another great thing was the price, about $3,000 installed. gv wants about that shipped to your door.
I am getting 22 mpg on the highway with the air on and a 383 with 3.23 gears.I'm very happy with the great job they did.
