replaced fuel pump

replaced fuel pump

replaced fuel pump earlier this week and now when I go to start the van it takes a while to fire. what did I do wrong, replaced pump and filter, have no leaks, is there an air bleedor some thing I have to do to remove air in the system to make it start on the first pop like it did before

Everytime you start or just cold starts after its been sitting for a while?

after a few days the hard starting went away
