JOLIET, Ill. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 14th annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Kevin Lawrence Runs 7.088/151.80, Now #2
Right Lane: Steve Schmidt Runs 6.777/203.86, Now #1
Weather conditions: air temperature 92 degrees, relative humidity 30 percent, barometer 29.18 inches, adjusted altitude 3,566 feet, track temperature 128 degrees.
