1935 dodge truck build
Hey there first off I'm a new member!
atriotic: I'm restoring a 1935 dodge truck, I need help on a couple of things, It's all original. I'm going to running it 12v originally 6v so I'm running new gauges, the original speedo was mechanical, new one is electric, what parts do I need to make this work? Second off the speedo also has a tach on it, originally truck had no tach, do I need to find diff gauges that's has no tach or is there a way to run the truck with a tach? If I have any other questions more will be posted at a later date.
Thank you,
Hbmopar (ryan)

HB Mopar.... I'm not clear on what you are installing....
But what i'm am getting is, you are going from a 6 volt system to a 12 volt system?
On the electric speedo side of the question.... there is a adapter that screws in place of the cable to work with the tach....
I have done Autometers and S/W. But I have not done the Dakota Gauge setup yet.
Hope i'm not to far off base and adding more confusion to your quest?
