318 piston issues

Have a 68’ 318 that has less than 1500 miles on it when it backfired and ignited the fuel that had seeped into the oil (didn’t clean the new edelbrock carb) pulled the two pistons that are in question and found nicks at the top of the pistons any opinions on if they are still usable is greatly appreciated. I’ve never done a complete rebuild so I’m scratching my head on this. Thanks

Cylinder walls? Measure skirt and it may be smaller from that big rock over.
