Dana 60 questions

I have a FF dana 60 from a 72 dodge 3/4 ton truck. I want to install this in a car.
1. Can I install car axles and brakes in this unit?

2. What housing ends do I need?

3.Where can I get measurements and other tech info on this?

You'd have to cut the spindles off and weld on a set of hubs to convert it. It can be done (cheaply too if you know how) though. You'll have to look for the ends on places like moserengineering.com among others.... maybe even call around.

Although.... if you want to spend the money, there are companies out tehre that offer a 5 on 5.5 hub that you can use. Then you'll have the strength and benifits of a FFD60 axle with a very common bolt pattern. Also, disc brakes then would be very easy to do.
