i have a 74 dart swinger (318 w/auto 4 gear), i recently found out that my spider gear was just complety destroyed... does anyone know if i should and can rebuild this rear end or if i should get another one from a junk yard... other than that same one i dont know from what other model i can get a rear end to fit on this car??? need much help please

Assuming you have an 8 1/4 rear. You could get the ring gear carrier from junkyard and install it in your housing. I had to do that with the 9 1/4 in my Van. Not a difficult repair. Yours is similar , on mine The bolt that keeps the spider gear shafts in place broke an I had to resort to a grinder to get it apart
