EASIEST WAY TO GET OIL PAN OUT??
LIKE THE TITLE SAYS I AM WORKING ON MY 69 ROAD RUNNER 440 AND I NEED TO PULL THE PAN BECAUSE THE DRAIN PLUG IS STRIPPED AND LEAKS LIKE A WATERFALL AND SO I NEED TO RE THREAD THE PAN AND THEREFORE SHE HAS TO COME OUT!
I HAVE IT OFF THE BLOCK BUT I CANT FIND A WAY TO MENUEVER THAT BAD BOY OUT! I CAN ONLY THINK TO TAKE OUT THE STEERING LINKAGE BUT I REALLY DONT WANT THAT AND I ALREADY TRIED TAKING THE SWAY BAR OFF AND I CANT PRY IT LOOSE? I GUESS I ONLY NEED TO TAKE OFF THE FOUR BOLTS? WELL I AM LOST
THANKS FOR READING...

The last time I was under a '69 (383) RR was about 1970. I don't remember having to lift the engine. Those cars SHOULD have a windage tray, IE two pan gaskets. Are you sure the pan isn't still glued to the tray? I don't remember if I had to disconnect the steering linkage or not, but I certainly don't consider that a real big deal. You need the appropriate puller to knock loose the tapered ends, I used to use a "pickle fork." However, those are hard on the rubber seals!!
