Electrical help

Needing to replace the revese light socket. The only part that I seem to find is Dorman part #85806. It is a one wire socket, the original has two. Is there a way to make this work or should I keep looking for a different one? If I can use this would I just cut the other wire out, it appears to just be a ground that is in line with all the others.

Yeah, I saw the picture of it. Just make sure to ground the body of the switch with a wire scewed to it or soldered and run to the body. Good job.
