If you want to put some work into it, check out Eastwood's Stainless steel paint. I used some on a buddies '70 bird, followed thier instructions, and it was still nice and silver when he sold it a year or so later. I'm not sure how much he drove it, but it didn't burn off. I think it was like $30 a quart, you blast and clean the headers, paint them with the SS, let it cure for 24 hours, then fire up the engine and let it bake on. Wasn't too bad...
