might by a dodge dart do you think its worth it

i found a 1967 dodge dart for 700 dollars i thinks it just a body it doesn't look to rusted what do you guys think and also where could a found one in missouri i would have to go pick this one up or have it shipped to me my budget would probably be up to $2500 thanks

He is right used to be $700 was a lot but not today. I have seen a lot of basket cases going for 4 to 5 grand. The economy is changing and cheaper cars are popping up. "Looks like it is solid means nothing", as these cars rust bad underneath and can look great. The one pictured looks to have been sitting in the weeds for a long time. Also it looks like a 67 from the back but has a 70's front clip, and no glass. If you can't go see it in person do not even concider it. These are unit body, so a rusty under-carriage is bad news. It means no frame. Find a car near you that you can actually go see. $2500 won't cover shipping but should get you a good project to start with and a driver if you get lucky. Solid body is your primary concern here. If you can try to get one from the south, as they tend to be more solid. Take your time and shop with your head not your heart. You will be glad you did. Start looking at alot of cars in your price range and see just what is really out there. Also make sure the seller has a good title that matches the car.

Look for something from the west coast Rusty cars get VERY expensive to fix

where are you at in missouri? i will keep an eye out for you and talk to some people...i know where there is a 69 dart in good shape but its a 4 door so you probably wouldnt want it.
