need help with 318 parts/info!!!!
hi every 1 i need to know
how much power dose a 318
with the 2 barrel carb make
can i get manifolds that dump in the rear
i have the choice of 2 318's for my swap into my ranger
both are 2 barrel but is there any thing that will tell me if 1 makes more power (there on the floor) thease motors are free to me from a family freind (he wants to see if i can pull off this project)
so please help me cause he said he will help fund the paint if i can make a fopar

what years are the 318? what are they out of?
typically your looking at about 160 HP at the crank which means you'll see about 10-145 hp through an auto and about 150 hp through a manual tranny. thats as long as your working with a 2wd tranny.
