Paint Job

My doba's hood and roof are rusted, just surface rust i think. Should i sand it all down to bare metal and then throw some primer on it to protect it from any further damage or let it ride until i get the car painted? I will post picture tomorrow.

If it is just surface rust then get a product called "The Must for Rust". I use it and I love it. It does take some time but it will be worth it.

Yeah, use the stuff that 78D200 said then sand with 80grit and 120, then spray with rattle can etch- primer [SEM brand from auto body supply house] then spray with rattle can primer follow up with a coat of cheap spray enamel. This should save your hood till you can get to the actual paint job.[youll probably have to sand off the cheap enamel later, [you just need to save it from further rusting right now] Hey,even Cordoba parts are getting hard to find!!
