starting problems 73 plymouth satellite

when i turn the ignition nothing happens; however, when i cross the terminals on the starter relay with a screwdriver the engine cranks and starts. i've changed the starter relay but that hasn't solved the problem. what do i do next?

thanks. checked the neutral safety switch and noticed the wiring connector that fits over the switch is cracked. perhaps that's the problem. don't know if that part is available at auto parts stores, though.

Yearone.com has them for about $15. I had a similiar problem in my 1972 Charger.

Did you get this figured out? If not then your best bet is to find a wiring diagram and a multimeter plus a rtest light and start making sure you're getting current where you need it. Just a guess but I'm thinking you have a bad wire or plug somewhere. If not that then the key switch itself may be shot. Good luck
