I like the Zep 45, it works quite well, I just don't care for the smell. It is quite a strong odor that stays with you for a long time. PB Blaster works well also. I keep both those and WD-40 and CRC on hand at all times. When one doesn't seem to be working well tone of the others is sure to perform.

for me as a lube WD-40 and the others are a bit thin for me. i found a co that made a line LPS 1, thin....LPS2 mid thick......LPS 3 heavy thick and rust preventive. but hard to find. i saw a demo at a trade show. the cat had a fish aqueraium with water and a bare light bulb in the water. the conections was sprayed with LPS 1. that keeps the water off of the wires. he sticks his hand in and grabs the lite bare bulb. and no harm. WD-40 might do the same. but ill not try.

What he didn't tell you is that it was a 12V light bulb..... I wouldn't try it either...But if you think about it if it was going to short circuit it would blow the fuse/ trip the breaker anyway.. I just don't like water and electricity mix it scares the hell out of me... And hurts when it bites you.....Bill
