Where can I buy a connector for ignition switch?
My ignition starter switch (mounted to steering column under dash) shorted out and melted the connector that plugs into it. The wiring is OK, just the conector is bad. Does anyone know where I can find one to splice into my wire harness to get it back on the road? The vehicle is a 1985 Dodge Ramcharger 4X4 with a 318 and a tilt steering column. Thanks in advance! you should be able to pick that up at your local parts yard as the dealer will tell you its to old for them to have it but i would just go to a yard and look but try ebay as there are some deals there if you find what your looking for just click on the parts list and typ in your truck and what ever they are selling for that it will pop up for you so good luck and let us no how it turned out and welcome to the forums and maybe some one here might even be able to see what they have in there back room

Thanks! I was really trying to see if someone knew an exact source for this part. I'm in the middle of no where and the only parts houses within 60 miles are autozone, checker and napa. None of these could get me what i needed. The closest junkyard is 95 miles away. Does anyone know who I can check with to get one on-line or by phone? I've tried ebay with no luck yet. Thanks, Zeus
