1966 Dodge Dart Value (Updated 5/16 with Pictures)
First let me say hello! I am a Corvette guy who has a few questions about my grandfathers 1966 Dodge Dart. My grandmother has recently passed away and now I am in charge of selling this car for the estate (along with a 66' and 65' Mustang). The Dart is a 1966 Convertible with the 273 V8 (I believe). It has an auto transmission. I believe it to be a GT model as well. The car is white with black guts and has 82k Miles. It has been in indoor storage under a cover since 1986, in fact yesterday was the first time I ever saw the car. The interior is near mint it appears and from what I saw of the outside it appears to be in very good original condition. The top is great but needs a rear window. It has been recently tuned up and gone through and is in running condition however it needs some brake work before coming out of storage. Not sure if it is a 4 or 2 barrel. I currently do not have pictures of it. Any rough estimate on what it may be worth?
Again thanks for accepting a Vette guy! Hope I posted this in the right section.

welcome to the forum.
If you can get the VIN, some of the guys here can decode it for you and tell you what it has. One way to figure out a price for it is to see what similar vehicles are going for on e-bay and craigslist.

Hey vette guy Welcome to the forums and yes i was just kidden about the 50 bucks but sorry to hear about your Grandfather and if it were me i would sell the vette and keep the gt as the value will be way greater in the long run but to answer your question i would put a tag on it for around 30,000.00 and see where it goes from there if its almost mint i can almost bet you will get it but the economy stinks right now so hope you sit on it and just not give it away unless you want to give it to me at a great buy hehehe

Sorry for all the posts ladies and gentlemen but I was too dumb to figure out how to post multiples in one post. These pictures were taken as it left the warehouse it has been in for close to 30 years. It cleaned up fantastic! The last two photos show the only place on this car thats not perfect, grandpa did minor bondo work on the rear quarters to stop rust that was apparently starting in the early 80's. Wish I would have gotten pics of it up on the lift as the underside is amazingly clean. It must have been undercoated very early in it's life.
