1990 to a 1992

hey guys ihave a 92 power ram 4x4 with a 318 and i'am thinking about buying a another motor out of a 90 model 4x4 truck. is there a differnts in these two motors port injection wise or any other.

the 92 that you have is a magnum and the 90 is a pre-magnum motor. the 92 should have MPFI and the 90 should be a TBI. the intake and head design on them is different so you might not be able to swap things over. plus the exhaust manifolds are different. the 92 magnum motor is a more reliable motor IMO because of the MPFI.

don't get me wrong, the pre-magnum motors kick butt, but i'd rather a magnum.
