Hi folks. A couple of years ago I picked up a torn apart engine (273 with casting number 2806030-273-3). I assumed it was a a 273 commando engine as it came with all the goodies that were found on that engine (chrome 273 commando air cleaner, the commando valve covers with fins, etc. all in boxes). I cleaned up the block and honed the cylinders. I sold the valiant that this motor was going into so as a result I am selling this engine. I am just wondering if their is any value to this block and spare commando parts, or should I just junk it.

I just bought a really nice 273 commando chrome air cleaner on ebay for $135, so there is some value to the air cleaner as well...defenitely worth selling....and there's a set of those valve covers on ebay right now...

Is it a gennie Commando? Does it have the domed pistons?
