My father - in - law owns a 67 Cuda with the original 273 bored out .030, unfortunately about a month ago we sucked a valve head and pretty much destroyed the block. So we are looking for a 340 short block to drop in it, which seems to be harder than hen's teeth to find. Does anyone have a line on a location or a good place to look? We've searched this forum for 340 information as well as hitting some of the major Mopar magazines with no luck. Is there a major company (ie. Mancini Racing, etc.) that may still be seeing refurbished or new 340's? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and hopefully we aren't being redundant with this post or breaking the rules! Thanks for your time!

1972 340 mopar motor - $400 (Estacada)

I have a 72 340 motor out of a boat. Its all there down to the pan. Needs to be rebuilt and different pan put on with a plug.
