64' Coronet 500 426 Hemi? HELP????

64' Coronet 500 426 Hemi? HELP????

I recently came upon a unique car that I need help with. The guy I bought it from said it is a 64' Coronet 500 that originaly had a 426 Hemi. The original 426 Hemi emblems are still on the car but the motor and tranny are gone. I am having trouble decoding the trim tag. Please help!!! The tag is as follows.

Thanks, but this only seems to work on newer cars. Is this car so rare that there is no data on it?

Pretty sure 64's came with wedges and a cross ram, not a hemi..

hemi's were not put into production cars until 65 i believe

gtx is right , you couldnt get a hemi till 65. your car most likely came w/ the 426 street wedge. a decent motor , and few were made., it still makes you car highly desirable.

64' or 65' Hemi Coronet questions

I have got the title yet, but the guy I got the car from swears it is a late 64. Could this be possible? If it is a 65' what would the value of this car be without the original running gear? What would it be worth if I found the original running gear?
