69 Polara... What's it worth?
I have been searching the web for my Dad trying to find a good estimate for an asking price for a 69 Dodge Polara. Since it is somewhat of a non-common car I am having a hard time finding a good starting point for a price.
The car is:
69 Polara 2dr
383
727 auto trans
Power everything. I do know know the trim model.
About 80k orig. miles.
The car was purchased by my grandfather new in 1969 and driven daily untill he passed away in 1988. After that it was driven a bit by my parents then it was parked in a garage. The body is straight, zero rust.
I am just looking for a good starting point for a price.
Thanks

Not a car that many are looking for, so finding a buyer is the tough part. If the car is straight and nice, it would be a shame to see someone part it out, sadly that is where many of these have gone. Pictures would help but average would be about $5000. to the right buyer. Good luck.

Try posting this on some C Body specific sites such as:
www.cbodydrydock.com
www.moparfins.com
There are a lot of knowledgable C Body guys on those boards and they can give you a fair assessment. Who knows, you might even find a buyer.
