A few of you may remember a month or so ago I broke the trans pump in my cuda. I replaced it and now have a different problem. In forward it will lunch forward and then stop like a brake is hung up(won't keep rolling freely). Checked all 4 tires nothing is hung up. As for reverse, I have none. It drove forward and reverse before restoration so I don't know if any other damage was done when I broke the pump. I recovered the 2 tabs that broke off. Is there any tests or adjustments I can make with the tranny in the car. I'm not too familiar with the inner workings of a trans. Any help would be appreciated. I apologize in advance if I don't respond to anything this weekend, off to Carlisle!

 

Are the bands positioned correctly? not broke?

 

Couldn't tell ya. I've never had one apart. Can I check with the tranny still in the car? Thanks
