77 D100 Drum or disk front?

So I have a 77 D100, was the disc front standard? or an option? If mine has drum (don't remember as I am writing this as I just started really puling it apart) how hard would it be to convert to disc using stock D100 parts (since it was an option).

I would locate the parts complete used then rebuild as needed, I've never seen a pu with drums that late, 77. I don't know if you need the spindle or not.
