im pretty sure it isnt the original motor
there arent any emissions testing for a 68 car, is there?

not when the vehicle is insured with collector's car insurance

It looks like a daily driver. Is the steering tight?
Id make sure the sterring and brakes are decent, other than that I wouldn't worry too much. It looks like its been driven regularly.

the cutoff is 66 and older for az

ok you guys, the coronet is mine! i traded the civic for it, the car looks to be in very good shape, checked for rust didnt see any, checked the trunk and under the chassis. i cant believe i have it, but to tell the truth im so overwhelmed since this is a whole new beast to me. for realiability reasons, anything i should do/check on the car?

right on, congratulations! check all the tune up items, belts, hoses, wiring - change the fluids and enjoy.

also, when modification time comes - one of the best mopar guys around has a machine shop in tempe

look up on the side of the block, under the cylinder heads. There will be a few casting numbers. In those casting number will be the size of the motor. It may have come with a 318 and someone later on swapped in a 360.

hahaha thanks everybody! i must admit there is no comparison when driving the coronet when it comes to torque since i didnt really have any before lol. the car feels good, a little getting used to the drum brakes and i could hear a belt i think. im going to take it to my buddys shop so he can check it out make sure everything is good. and i will post pics later

thank you, i dont like 4 door's neither but this once somehow pulls it off, or so im told. its kinda a bitch to start tho, like it doesnt like to start on the first turn. is that normal for these cars?
