So what's a mopar body that's common or realistic enough for someone to buy with a somewhat limited budget? I'm wanting to rebuild a mopar but dont want to spend 10k+ on just the shell. So what would you guys say is a common mopar shell to come across?

Mopars are not cheap to build... Keep check on your local Craigslist... Good Luck.

 

Haven't been cheap for 10-20 years ALL of the good rebuild able ones are gone. Just questionable rust buckets. Late model 75up would be a good bet unless you have something special in mind

 

A mid 70s A or F body or how about a 2wd short box pu up to 2000?

I have an F body and have had a 77 short box, both will take a big block and make great sleepers.

 

AN early Dakota would be cool with a hot small or big block or better yet a G3.
