I have found a running 318 and 727 trans for cheap to swap into my 69 Fury sport to keep it rolling while my sons rebuilds the 383 for a graduation project next semester. From what I have learned on the net the k-frame is the same, the driveshaft is the same length, the starter is the same and I probably will need motor mounts for the 318. Other than this what other suprises have I missed?

nothing else really. You can use the BB radiator as its plenty to cool that 318.
