which body type
Ya. I'm pretty sure that A bodies are Valiant's and dart's etc.. Small cars. You are most likely B. Or even C. You can tell mostly by body weight. At least that has been my experience. I still can't get a definite on my 64 Chrysler. Seems they were in the process of re-fitting body types that year. Mopars.. Gotta love em. But hey. Most parts interchange. Except carpets and the like. So anything mechanical is a breeze. Not alot of variation. (ie) all ya gotta do to put a big block in a 60's is change the motor mounts. There are usually three threaded holes to move the trans..

I have fitted original car 727 internals and tailshaft in big block housing in stock gearbox mount so prop is stock fitment, I will then just drop the motor as low as it will go and make my engine mounts, I do need some stiffer front torsion rods though it was like a boat even with the 318 in it, 440 is a big old heavy lump
