Brake Light Keeps Going Out

I have a brake light that keeps going out after multiple replacements. A while ago the alternator went out and ever since, the light has been fine until a couple days ago when it went out again and the glass actually cracked. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is there excessive moisture inside the light? Are you buying good quality bulbs?

Philips bulbs...I'll have the check on the moisture.

also if there is corrosion in the socket this will build heat and cause these problems.
