Well I'm trying my hand at swapping motors. On the replacement motor I have two broken ex. manifold studs, so I need to know what size of drill bit and extractor I need to use. I also need to know what size of bolt or stud I need to use to replace them.

Also can somebody link me to some good information on swapping out the lean burn to the electronic ignition system.

First if you're not in a big hurry, soak the two in Moovit or WD, ya know some kind of penetrating goo. If they are broken off rather flush, center punch the broken stud before you drill. Ya wanna use the smallest drill/extractor combo you can, cause trust me when I tell ya, if ya break an EZ out, well we won't go there. So back to the program, I personally like to use a little heat, ie: propane torch, you don't wanna heat the bolt you are trying to remove just the metal around it, during this process I heat the area, spray the Moovit into the hole, heat again, put out the fire in the garage, heat again etc etc. Than try the EZ out. Most of the bolts that have broken on me, and I'm sure this is how it is with everyone else too, The bolt never breaks off clean and flat. If you can grind the midle down a little, do that. If the bolt is below the surface of the head, there is nothing much you can do. You'll have to do your best to get it out.

Try some PB Blaster or some type of penatrating oil like Polar said. If anything, it will help to break up some/if any rust build up on the threads. I will start off with a small drill bit and work my way up to about 1/4" drill. Drill all the way through the bolt though as this will help to releive some of the stress between the head and bolt.

I took a cylinder head to a engine shop and they had them out in notime and charged me very little.

Got it out! What I did was use some PB Blaster, and used a propane torch to heat up the area around the bolt. I did this 4 times within an hour. Then use a reverse drill bit and an easy out. It worked for me.
