I posted an ad for a steering wheel for my project. I was notified by a new member here who goes by Chrisband. He told me about a Shawn Hadley in Montana that had what I was looking for. I got in touch with Shawn using the email given me by Chris and we came to an agreement on price. I paid through PayPal. Never received wheel and can't get in touch with again. He had even given me a phone number, but doesn't exist and the area code is for Louisiana not Montana. I just wanted to let members know about scam!

Submit a claim through paypal. It worked for me!

Same thing happened to me with the same guy. It was headers I gave him money for. Never received the headers & couldn't get my money back.

 

Update Heard from PayPal yesterday. Full refund to my account

 

In my case I did wrong I sent him money as FRIEND not as GOODS Paypal said that there was nothing they could do. Since I did that. Was just trying to save anyone any fees. I will not do that again

 

grrrrrrrrrrrr, there's nothing lower than a thief. well, i guess there is, but... they are reeeeeeeeally low.

 

This is part of the scam, it probably wasn't your idea to use the friend's deal and save a few bucks.

 

He goes by the name SHAWN HADLEY The email he gave me is TammyHadley44@gmail.com Also when I sent him money through paypal the name KAREN SHULTZ comes up
