Why a car cover? Is this just for dust during indoor storage? is this outside? Car covers are a big market but can often do more damage than nothing at all. Any dust/dirt on the car when the cover goes on acts like sand paper as the cover moves, even when just putting it on. That dust gets trapped in the material and scratches the car every time the cover is put on. the soft flannel covers are just as bad. Any good paint protection company will tell you only to use 100% cotton towels on your paint, never polyester or blends. Guess what? the car covers are often poly/cotton blends. I have owned Several show quality cars and know paint fairly well and unless it is an unusual circumstance I would recommend against a car cover. A good example would be "long term" winter storage. You would thoroughly wash and detail the car, prepare it for storage (fluids, battery, tires,...) then put on the cover for the duration of the time in storage. for day to day storage it will do more harm than good.

sorry for the long post but this is something that I am passionate about.
