Chrysler Classic at 131 and some SMRE Updates

We hope things are going great for everyone. We have been very busy with customers and also working on the house SS/AH car. In between customers we have been doing quite a bit of R&D and are happy to say we are making big strides. SMRE is one of the sponsors of the Chrysler Classic at 131 in Martin Michigan. We will be there with the Sorcerer and really hoping to have a good showing. We would love to meet anyone from the Mopar Forums who might be there. Anyone planning on going??

In other news, we have an interesting project in the works, that some might be interesting in. It is a ProCharged Hemi-Headed Chevy. Not quite a Mopar but too cool to just be a Chevy. I will try to post some pics up later on with a little info. If it seems like there is some interest, it might be fun to update frequently.

Pic of Hemi-headed Chevy Project and Chrysler Classic Flyer

Here is a first look at our Hemi-Headed Chevy Project. The Holy Hemi has inspired many to look at "half-breeding". We now receive countless calls requesting things like "Big Block Ford version of it" and "Small Block Chevy Version" etc etc. But, this project was actually in the works before the dyno test of the Holy Hemi. The block and heads are getting ready to go out for a custom manifold build. I will post more details as they become available.

Info from Chrysler Classic

Well, we had a great time testing at the Chrysler Classic last weekend. I think we were able to learn enough to make some good progress before the next race. Car ran 5 consecutive passes with no issues. Now we just have to squeeze more power out of it. There are tons of pics of the event at www.hemishootout.net. I took some video too. I will try to get it uploaded soon. The house car is The Sorcerer (like in my avatar). Have a great week and hopefully I will have some updates on the Hemi-headed Chevy soon.

We just got the pistons back from being coated. They look great. Hopefully, we will get some real progress made on this soon. I will keep you updated.
